The email indicates that your unlock passcode on the device is Non-Compliant, you need to change it and ensure that the OS (operating system) is not out of date.

First, you need to ensure that your mobile phone is on the latest OS, to check this, swipe up on the screen and go Settings > Software Update > Download and Install if there is an update it will show on the screen.  You will need to allow the phone to Download and Install All the software updates, until it says "Your software is up to date", this will require at least one reboot of the mobile phone. Once the OS is up to date, click on the PlayStore icon, click on the circle in the top right hand corner of the screen, click on Manage apps and device > Updates. If all your apps are up to date already the message will show as All apps up to date.

Secondly, reset your passcode on the device, by going to Settings > Lock Screen > Screen Lock and Biometrics you will need to enter the current passcode on your device. Now click on Password enter the existing passcode and click Continue, you will be asked to enter a new passcode twice to confirm (this must be a minimum of 8 characters, including a capital letter, a number and a symbol e.g. Rbwm2026!). 

Finally, click on the 
InTune app (see image below). On the screen you should see a Devices tab.  Click on your Android device (it will show something like this  abc123_AndroidEnterprise_11/26/2025_11:23AM) at the bottom of the screen, click on SYNC.  


Once the sync is complete, it will say whether there is anything else wrong with your device. If nothing shows, then when you click in Device Details it should show the “Device settings status” as Compliant.
